Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on iOS in Bahrain, Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing sector in Bahrain saw varied performance across the top apps on the iOS platform. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, highlights trends in downloads and revenue, offering a glimpse into the competitive landscape.

Uber - Request a ride experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at around 600 in early January and peaking at over 700 by the end of March. Despite the ups and downs, the app maintained a steady presence in the market.

Careem – rides, food & more showed a gradual decline in downloads from 280 at the beginning of the quarter to just over 130 by the end. This trend suggests a decrease in new user acquisition over the period.

Bolt: Request a Ride had a similar pattern, with downloads starting at 200 and showing a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, closing at around 210. This indicates a stable user interest throughout the quarter.
